Do you want to be part of a ground floor, funded and growing web startup? isocket is adding a few amazing people to our small team as we grow to meet exploding customer demand. We're building an advertising platform to help sites like TechCrunch (our first customer) sell their own ads.

Want to build and be responsible for an amazing product that people love? isocket is looking for an incredibly talented front end designer / engineer to join our Burlingame, CA based team. In a nutshell: you’ll plan, design and implement everything about our brand and product that touches our customer and the public. You should be experienced, results oriented and passionate about producing a great product that people love.

“Responsible for successful product development” is an understatement – you’ll be a key part of one of the few growing and funded early stage startups in the Valley. This is a unique opportunity for exceptional people. You’re getting in on the ground floor of a project that has a long list of customers waiting to successfully use our product.

About isocket

• A small startup team of 4 passionate people.

• Funded. We raised a $2M seed round from some of the world's best investors (Founders Fund, Jeff Clavier, Tim Draper, etc).
• We're building an advertising platform. People like TechCrunch use our tools to manage and sell their own advertising.

The Job

• Design and build the UI of our products and platform. HTML, CSS, AJAX, etc.
• Design and build successful brand, marketing and conversion materials.
• Analyze our UX, track metrics, and optimize conversions and utilization.
• Deliver. There’s a lot of exciting development our customers are waiting for!
• Wear many hats - it's a startup, you are responsible for a lot of different things.
• Build an engineering culture of customer-driven products, efficiency and innovation.

Requirements

• Relevant time and experience ( >4 years ) as a designer / engineer with excellent references from your last 3 employers / contractors.
• Relevant experience with building web applications / SaaS products.
• Superior knowledge of front end skills: HTML, CSS, AJAX, Flash, Javascript toolkits, etc.

Extra Credit

• Ability to understand and tie PHP. Have worked at a startup or similarly agile company.
• Experience building advertising oriented and/or platform based products.
• You’ve been an entrepreneur (or freelancer). Did it succeed? Great. Did it fail? That’s OK too.
• Active in the community – real life, open source, a JS toolkit, etc.
