Our company is a 10-person start-up looking for a talented, motivated UI Designer to help us build web-based social games.
You love games, and you love design. You want to make stuff on the web that people use and love, and you're willing to question any convention in order to reach that goal. And you've got the ability to find a design direction for a project and run with it.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of type, color, and space, and can design exceptionally well for the web using Photoshop or Illustrator
- Experience working with an engineering team to make your designs reality
- Experience working with illustrators to integrate hand-drawn content in your designs
- Design and layout experience for a wide variety of web-based applications
- Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and you take pride in doing great work
- Ability to work closely with others within a dedicated team environment
- Love for games. Deep, all-consuming love preferred
- Familiarity with casual games and social (e.g. Facebook and MySpace) games is a must
- (Big Plus) Ability to take a Photoshop comp and implement it with good, clean, standard-compliant XHTML and CSS
- Ability to work in the US
