Sr. Product Manager (Casual Games)

As senior product manager (casual games) here at Glu, you’ll be helping to develop the strategy and roadmap for our portfolio of games and applications aimed at a casual audience.  Reporting to the director of product management, you’ll be expected to drive product strategy for casual games and to be our business expert on existing and emerging gaming platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain competitive analyses, identifying new players, trends and opportunities in the games market and wider entertainment space
  • Coordinate with Glu's product development teams to develop games across all targeted mobile platforms
  • Shepherd concepts from the development studios through review and greenlight
  • Determine product naming and coordinate approval and trademark rights with legal
  • Manage the creation and delivery of key product deliverables including roadmap presentations, marketing artwork, game logos, screenshots and videos
  • Develop product marketing copy and coordinate localization of text with vendor
  • Coordinate with Glu's live product teams to maintain and maximize reach and revenue post launch for successful persistent titles
  • Set pricing strategy and continually manage in-game pricing and offers for live products
  • Set priorities for game updates and ensure successful execution at every level
  • Manage in-game cross-selling to support both new and live titles
  • Develop and present analyses of releases, reviewing product updates / marketing / pricing / game economies & results

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software product management experience (MBA a plus)
  • 2+ years experience working with live casual social games (experience in other casual online and/or mobile a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful strategies and product roadmaps
  • Ability to lead through influence
  • Solid analytical skills, including growth / revenue projections and data analysis
  • Experience leading product teams to ship / update software on time and on budget
