The Amazon Digital team is looking for software engineers interested in helping to build the next generation consumer storage webs service. You will design, plan, execute and automate tests of front, middle and back-tier software. You’ll be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up like environment. You should be somebody who enjoys working on large networked systems.
Duties for this position include design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of test automation programs, the creation of software tools used to perform build verification and regression tests and driving the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience or more, level will be determined upon interview
• Computer Science or similar degree
• Expert level Java
• C++ helpful, but, not required
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Ruby
• Familiarity with Linux or other *nix operating systems.
• Familiarity with video technology and/or embedded software a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving
• Expert in software quality and testing methodologies
• Knowledge of test automation tools
