Today, Danal is a global leader in mobile payments, having processed several billion dollars worth of transactions with over ten thousand merchant partners. Also, Danal is the only company to have launched this type of service with 14 mobile carriers throughout South Korea, Taiwan, and China. The company builds and operates the payment gateway between the merchants and the mobile carriers.

The Senior Product Manager position is a hands-on, highly visible position that is accountable for developing the product requirements and executing product marketing initiatives for the BilltoMobile payment service. The candidate will drive the product and marketing objectives by interfacing effectively at all levels in the company to recommend and lead strategic actions. Job responsibilities include:

. Build MRDs/PRDs, white papers, company reports, and formative & summary marketing research reports.
. Create user-centric product requirements based upon on market analysis, business strategy and customer needs.
. Define marketing strategies for the BilltoMobile payment service and align initiatives with internal/external partners.
. Translate user needs into marketing strategies in the areas of audience definition, positioning framework, online marketing campaigns, and viral marketing.
. Assist in sales and pre-sales activities with merchant and carrier business development teams.
Assist in the development of launch plans, including product guides, sales presentations, demo scripts, flash demos, feature comparisons, and other product marketing initiatives.
. Work closely with UX, design, QA, and development to ensure requirements are interpreted correctly in detailed design specifications and in the construction of the product assigned.
. Assess opportunities through competitive analysis, market trends, segmentation, brand awareness, and user feedback.
. Monitor product usage to observe trends and make data driven decisions for enhancements, new features and products.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
. At least 8 years of experience in product/product marketing with a strong understanding of eCommerce/SaaS/Web technologies.
. Experience through the full PDLC, from concept development, prototyping, usability, product optimization, to post-launch analysis and reporting.
. Experience managing the suite of product marketing elements that include research, branding, messaging, positioning, collateral, and marketing & sales distribution plans.
. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively communicate key issues/results in a manner appropriate to the audience, including the executive level.
. Must be able to interface with cross-functional teams of professionals, both internal and external to the company, while having the ability to build & maintain strong working relationships and influence decisions.
. Possess a challenger mindset that exceeds ambitions, has an openness to do things differently, and assumes thought leadership in a fast-paced environment.
. Experience in mobile payments or any financial settlements is an advantage, but not necessary.
. Bachelor degree required.
