Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the marketing strategy and personnel for our RedEnvelope division, leveraging in-depth knowledge of customer research, sales trends and channel economics. Develop new, innovative strategies and initiatives that increase customer acquisition and retention rates. Drive innovation by identifying and testing new ideas and initiatives.
- Directly manage retention marketing channels. Lead process to identify and implement segmentation, targeting and campaign strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty. Oversee all execution and operations of email and catalog marketing.
- Coordinate with in-house marketing acquisition team, including online and traditional media channels, to ensure a holistic, multi-channel marketing approach that hits margin targets.
- Serve as the central gatekeeper for sales and profitability by marketing channel. Conduct quantitative analysis to measure the financial success / profitability of marketing campaigns. Understand key drivers and identify any corrective actions to meet financial plan.
- Lead, mentor, and develop marketing personnel. Structure team to best meet business needs while creating a culture of insight and innovation.
- Generate customer insight from customer research and customer metrics that drive marketing programs.
- Work collaboratively with counterparts in Analytics and Merchandising to identify and address business improvement opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the website and creative teams to optimize the website with high-converting messaging, products and testing
- Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 plus years of direct marketing experience. Demonstrated, quantifiable success in direct marketing
- Accountability for managing a P&L.
- Great leader of people with 4+ years of experience managing teams
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize and analyze data to identify trends and marketing opportunities.
- Familiarity with web analytics and A/B testing approaches.
- Effective collaborative skills, experience working effectively achieving results through others in a highly collaborative and matrix organization
- Strong communicator who uses data driven analysis to support hypotheses.
- Lead, mentor, and develop marketing personnel. Structure team to best meet business needs while creating a culture of insight and innovation.

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Equivalent, MBA preferred
