As Director/VP of Business Development, you will be responsible for strategic initiatives as well as identifying, crafting, and managing key third party relationships. You will help PubMatic evaluate and integrate new technology solutions and channel partner relationships. You will also be responsible for strategic thinking and decision making leading to partnership opportunities. This position reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:⨕ Leading strategic initiatives such as market research, competitive intelligence and research, and new business initiatives⨕ Leading business development efforts for technology and channel relationships, including identifying needs, evaluating partners, conducting partnership negotiations, and managing relationships⨕ Working across internal business teams to assist them with strategic initiatives and partnership efforts.
Requirements:
⨕ BA/BS or equivalent preferably in a technical discipline; MBAâ¨
• A minimum of 6 to 10 years work experience across strategy and business development functionsâ¨
• A minimum of 4 years of work experience in the online display advertising space (excluding search)â¨
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to present effectively to a C-level audience⨕ Demonstrated deal-making experience
⨕ Very strong analytical thinking abilities
⨕ Strong work ethic
⨕ 10% travel required
