Bay Street Capital is a publicly held, early stage venture capital firm focusing on web based technology and biotechnology companies. We are looking to fill our "Designer in Residence" position, where you would oversee and implement user interface designs for our myriad of portfolio companies. This is a fast paced job where you will find yourself working with several different startup companies over the course of the year. Work is expected to be done mostly onsite at our offices by the beach in Santa Monica.
What we are looking for:
- A seasoned veteran in user interface and user experience design.
- Someone who enjoys clean, simple, minimalist, elegant design as much as we do.
- Can develop Web 2.0 applications using CSS, XHTML, Javascript/AJAX
- Can Implement and oversee A/B testing for our web properties
- Knows how to create great wireframes/mockups/prototypes quickly and efficiently
